The Health Center<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”grid” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern” padding_top=”50″ padding_bottom=”15″][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]We Are Like You is a collaborative project<\/a> between the Aita Menni Hospital<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0of Arrasate \u2013 Mondrag\u00f3n (Gipuzkoa, Spain) and the\u00a0Saint<\/strong>\u00a0Benedict Menni Health Center<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0of Monrovia (Liberia), both belonging to the Order of the Sisters Hospitallers.<\/p>\n

The project aims to improve the health conditions of patients<\/strong> in the health center, and treat patients with mental illness<\/strong> and\/or suffering from substance abuse and mental handicaps.<\/p>\n

For this purpose,\u00a0the project includes plans for the building and renovation of installations<\/strong>\u00a0in order to incorporate specialized consultation facilities for mental disorders and a nursing unit to the Benedict Menni Center, as well as\u00a0training programs for local health teams<\/strong>\u00a0for the care of mentally ill patients.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]The project follows the mental health policy guidelines promoted by Liberia\u2019s Ministry of Health and Social Welfare and the measures implemented at the Grant Mental Hospital, with which those behind the project work closely.<\/p>\n
