{"id":19382,"date":"2016-06-06T18:05:35","date_gmt":"2016-06-06T17:05:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wearelikeyou.org\/?p=19382"},"modified":"2016-06-28T12:51:46","modified_gmt":"2016-06-28T12:51:46","slug":"aita-menni-transfers-usd-42600-for-the-saint-benedict-menni-health-center-at-pipeline","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wearelikeyou.org\/en\/aita-menni-transfers-usd-42600-for-the-saint-benedict-menni-health-center-at-pipeline\/","title":{"rendered":"Aita Menni transfers USD 42,600 for the Saint Benedict Menni Health Center at Pipeline"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Aita Menni Hospital<\/strong> in Arrasate-Mondragon (Spain) recently transferred <strong>USD 42,600<\/strong> to the Community of the Sisters Hospitallers in Pipeline (Monrovia, Liberia), for the refurbishing of facilities at the Saint Benedict Menni Health Center.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This amount was collected in 2015 and 2016 thanks to the efforts of volunteers, individual donnors, companies that\u00a0work with\u00a0Aita Menni and suppliers who wanted to contribute to <a title=\"The project\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wearelikeyou.org\/en\/the-project\/\">We Are Like You<\/a>, a project that seeks improving the\u00a0conditions of patients at\u00a0the health center, and treat patients with mental illness and\/or suffering from substance abuse and mental handicaps. In the amount transferred to Liberia are comprised donations collected at <a title=\"Hundreds of people generously take part in the We Are Like You charity concerts\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wearelikeyou.org\/en\/hundreds-of-people-generously-take-part-in-the-we-are-like-you-charity-concerts\/\">Juan Carlos Irizar\u00b4s charity concerts<\/a> in different Basque towns and in other events organized by Sisters Hospitallers and Aita Menni Hospital, such as <a title=\"The big family of the Aita Menni Hospital meets in Chillida-Leku in support of the charity project \u201cWe Are Like You\u201d\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wearelikeyou.org\/en\/la-gran-familia-del-hospital-aita-menni-se-reune-en-chillida-leku-en-apoyo-al-proyecto-solidario-we-are-like-you\/\">the gathering held in Chillida-Leku Museum<\/a> (San Sebastian) last September.
