For the second time \u2013first was in 2015<\/a>\u2013, Donostia-San Sebasti\u00e1n\u00a0Chillida Leku Museum<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0was the venue last Saturday for a charity concert of musician, composer and director Juan Carlos Irizar for the We Are Like You<\/a> project. This time he was accompanied by I\u00f1aki Revuelta and Marian Larrea, whoplayed and sang different pieces and performed as\u00a0a trio with Irizar\u00a0to finish the musical evening.<\/p>\n

In the morning, the premises of the Zabalaga ancient farm, where the museum is located, had held the 1st Meeting of Basque Organizations that work in the mental health and intelectual disability\u00a0fields, organized by Hospital Aita Menni. Groups and foundations like\u00a0Why Not?<\/strong>,\u00a0Gizaide<\/strong>,\u00a0Uliazpi<\/strong>,\u00a0Goyeneche Foundation,\u00a0The Red Cross,\u00a0Hurkoa<\/strong>,\u00a0Acasgi<\/strong>,\u00a0Gautena<\/strong>,\u00a0Atzegi<\/strong>,\u00a0Caser-Betharram<\/strong>,\u00a0Gureak<\/strong>,\u00a0Katea Legaia<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0Agifes <\/strong>attended the encounter.<\/p>\n

Around 350 people enjoyed an array of activities \u2013dance lessons, African drums workshop, rowing machines, photocall, games…\u2013 and had the chance to tour\u00a0around the museum in guided groups, some of them with the exceptional guidance of Mikel Chillida, grandson of sculptor\u00a0Eduardo Chillida<\/strong><\/a>, author of the pieces that are shown in the museum. A charity market sold handcrafts made by the patients of Aita Menni Hospital to gather\u00a0funds for the We Are Like You project.<\/p>\n

As well as Mikel Chillida and his father, Luis<\/strong>, son of the sculptor, the Mother Superior of Aita Menni, Sister Monserrat Esparza<\/strong> and an executive team from the Hospital attended the concert: CEO\u00a0Mikel Tellaeche,\u00a0Jos\u00e9\u00a0Ignacio Quemada,\u00a0Irune Galarraga,\u00a0Alo\u00f1a Teller\u00eda, Xabier Altuna. Egoitz Zabala<\/strong>\u00a0was the master of ceremony.<\/p>\n

Jos\u00e9 Luis Herrador<\/strong>, subdelegate of the Government,\u00a0Jon Etxeberria<\/strong>, delegate of the Health Basque Ministry, Eukene Zapiain<\/strong>, from the provincial Government were among the attendants, as well, like\u00a0Ismael de Arriba\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Carlos Ortega, <\/strong>from Ausolan, who offered an outstanding cocktail under their new brand for events, Sharma.<\/p>\n

Other attendants were\u00a0politician Rafa Larreina<\/strong>, from Eusko Alkartasuna, Mercedes Ohlsson<\/strong> from Why Not? with a group of collaborators, Gorka \u00c1lvarez, from Inarkia, Marta Tellaeche, from Eskibel school, Esther Irigaray from the Aquarium,\u00a0Arantza Olaizola<\/strong>\u00a0from Caja Laboral;\u00a0Jos\u00e9 Ignacio\u00a0del Pozo<\/strong>, from\u00a0Hurkoa; or\u00a0Juan Ribera<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Jos\u00e9 \u00c1ngel Mendiluze\u00a0<\/strong>from the\u00a0Goyeneche Foundation.<\/p>\n

Didn\u00b4t miss the concert, either,\u00a0I\u00f1aki Teller\u00eda<\/strong>\u00a0from Caser-Betharran;\u00a0Maitane Arizmendiarrieta,\u00a0from<\/strong>\u00a0Eroski travel company;\u00a0Josune Mart\u00ednez,<\/strong>\u00a0from Uliazpi;\u00a0Ladis Arriola,\u00a0<\/strong>from Aspaldiko Foundation; and\u00a0Gonzalo Juaristi, <\/strong>who offered dance lessons\u00a0with\u00a0Sahra Zegaoula<\/strong><\/a>.
