10 Oct 2022 Psychiatry Residency Program pays off: Liberia has a new psychiatrist

During the month of September we attended the Annual Congress of the Liberian College of Physicians and Surgeons, directed by Dr. Benjamin Harris -the only psychiatrist in the country for the last 40 years and physician of our Mental Health Unit at Saint Benedict Menni Center-, and we did so with the immense joy of attending the graduation ceremony of a new psychiatrist, Dr. Moses Ziah II.

Dr. Ziah has completed his residency at our center, and his graduation rewards not only his efforts, but also those of Dr. Harris to attract young medical students to the world of psychiatry through the Psychiatry Residency Program that he carries out in collaboration with Saint Benedict Menni Health Center.
